Gambling Online Blackjack
The game became known as Blackjack because if a player
held a Jack of Spades and an Ace of Spades as the 1st two cards, the player was
paid out extra. Gambling was legal out West from the 1850's to 1910, at which time
Nevada made it a felony to operate a gambling game. You must keep your hand over the table at all times
and if you are dealt any more cards to leave them on the table. Starting to the
dealer's left side, the cards are dealt in a round one at a time to each player
ending with the dealer receiving his second card face down. An
Ace can count as 1 or 11 depending on what is most beneficial to your hand.
Player's add the value of their cards and either decide to "Stick" or
"Stand" with their current cards or receive another card, called a
"Hit" or "Draw," hopefully raising their total closer to 21
without going over. Once all players have decided to "Stand," the
dealer reveals the face down card known as the "Hole" card. Blackjack can be won in a few different ways. If
your first two cards total 21, you have Blackjack and win 3:2 odds on your bet
automatically unless the dealer draws Blackjack as well causing a tie or a
"Push." In the case of a tie, no money is won or lost. The cards from 2 through 9 are valued as indicated. Hit - if you are not satisfied with your current total you can ask the dealer to hit you which means he deals you another card in addition to your
two. You are hit until you are satisfied with your total, or until you bust. Double - if you think you will win without getting more than one card you
double. You have to add an amount equal to your original wager and receive only one
card. Split - if your starting hand contains two cards of the same type (i.e. two 9's) you can split them up into two new
hands.

Zodiac Casino has a fresh, clean interface that is easy to use I actually first played at this Microgaming-powered casino over 3 years ago, but having not played for a long, long time I decided it was time to for a revisit For a casino to survive 7 years of business (at the time of writing), it suggests that something is being done right by the casino because otherwise players would not keep returning!
